Deeply concerned with the large amounts of styrofoam the wine industry in the nearby Napa Valley was using, we started to search for a greener protective packaging solution.
Intensive research led us to discover molded fiber which met all our sustainable requirements – developed from base materials that have been recycled or from fast growing sources and 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
Fuelled by the success in helping to make the world a little greener, we took on the electronics industry next. Beyond external protective packaging, we took our molded fiber solution a step further and introduced it as inner protective packaging.
To meet the stringent requirements needed by the top electronics client, we enhanced the quality of our molded fiber such that it was able to pass stress tests and have minimal dust residue.
To help our green dreams grow bigger, we became a part of Wing Fat Printing in 2014. This provided us with the ability to invest in more facilities that use 100% renewable energy.
Today, we continue to be constantly on the search for the most advanced solutions to offer our clients. This includes initiatives like collaborating with universities to conduct research and development into more eco-friendly ideas, working with like-minded partners to integrate smart packaging into molded fiber packaging, expanding the use of molded fiber into product packaging such as cosmetic eyeshadow palettes and more.
